SAFARI LODGES

There are 7 different luxury lodges:

• Eagles Crag Lodge - birders paradise with 9 private detached luxury suites sleeping a maximum of 2 adults per suite located in a valley
• Lobengula Lodge - 5 luxury thatch suites and 1 chief thatch suite sleeping a maximum of 2 adults per suite located deep in the valley
• Long Lee Manor - Edwardian manor house with 15 ensuite rooms and 3 luxury suites sleeping a maximum of 2 adults per room/suite. The house overlooks a water hole and the sweeping plains leading down to Bushmans River.
• Bushmans River Lodge 4 bedroom Victorian homestead ideal for small groups of friends or couples offering privacy. Maximum of 2 adults per room.
• Riverdene Lodge 9 luxury suites in a colonial style restored frontier homestead for families offering children's activities
• Bayethe Tented Lodge 9 luxury tents and 3 premier tents sleeping a maximum of 2 adults per tent overlooking a water hole
• Sarili Lodge 5 suites suitable for families or a small group located in the southern region of the reserve

ACTIVITIES A personally assigned game ranger to groups of 6 persons and your lodge manager will design a daily program with you.

• Morning and afternoon game drives in open vehicles
• Game walks - please arrange with your personal game ranger
• Visit the 2 Born Free Big Cat Sanctuaries
• Spa treatments (extra charges)
• Childrens activities at Riverdene and Sarili Lodges

All information provided is subject to change.

Persons under the age of 16 years are not permitted on walking safaris.
0-3 years are not permitted on game drives and may share accommodation with adults at no extra cost.
4-11 years are permitted on game drives and may share accommodation with adults at 50% of adult rate dependant on availability of cots and sleeper couches.
A maximum of 2 children may share accommodation with 2 adults dependant on availability of cots and sleeper couches.

Children under 12 years are accommodated at Riverdene or Sarili Lodge only.
Children over 12 years are charged at adult rate.
Babysitting is carried out by lodge staff at an additional cost.

Shamwari Game Reserve check in October to April from 1300 hours on day of arrival.
Check out is 1100 hours on day of departure.
Check in May to September from 1200 hours on day of arrival.
Check out is 1100 hours on day of departure.
