ACCOMMODATION   is in 18 palm thatch cottages spread along the shoreline comprising a suite with spacious bedroom with king size bed and mosquito net, dressing area, shower room, verandah with Swahili bed or hammock. 1 Family palm thatch cottage comprising 2 connecting cottages.

'Baobabs of Kitangani' has 1 ensuite double bedroom, sitting room (can be converted into a twin) and a private seating/dining area on the beach. It is situated 2 km across the bay from Kiwayu Lodge. Meals are served in the bedroom or on the beach. Staff and boatmen are at guests service.

Prices are per room per night, in £ sterling including full board accommodation, mineral water, Kiwayu airstrip transfers, windsurfing, laser sailing, snorkeling, body boarding, kayaking, mangrove trips in motorised canoe, evening cruise dhow sailing, guided dune walks, private lunch on Kiwayu island, private lunch on Kongoali Beach, laundry and taxes.

Not included - Kiunga Marine Park and conservation fees approximately $35 per adult per day, $20 per child under 12 per day, all drinks except mineral water, waterskiing, reef fishing, creek fishing, deep sea fishing, boat excursions and picnic at Kui, boat excursion and picnic lunch at Simambaya, day trip to Lamu, transfers by boat.

Kiwayu Safari Village is closed from 15 April to 22 July 10 (the Kenya coast is generally overcast and wet at this time).

'Baobabs of Kitangani' - minimum 2 persons. Additional child is charged the extra child rate (maximum 2 adults, 2 children).

Kiwayu Safari Village check out is 1200 hours on day of departure. An extra lunch is charged for an AM arrival with a PM departure.
